Displays

Many types of displays use ARINC 818 interfaces, both in an avionics context and for mission systems, such as: Multi-Function Displays (MFD), Primary Flight Displays (PFD), Helmet Mounted Displays (HMD), and Head-Up Displays (HUD). Current aerospace displays support resolutions 4K and beyond, as well as stereoscopic displays. ARINC 818 supports displays of many sizes, shapes, and different presenting color profiles dependent on the purpose of a display.
